A healthy grass flat has dense seagrass coverage with sandy patches, holds bait (mullet, shrimp, crabs), and sees consistent moving water on tidal cycles. Fish the edges where grass transitions to sand, work potholes (sandy openings) within the grass, and target points where the flat meets deeper water. Topwaters at dawn, soft plastics through midday.
